Senior Principal Go Developer (Cybersecurity Platform)

• Independently own and navigate a large backend ecosystem consisting of multiple services with minimal ramp-up support
• Develop and maintain backend services using Golang
• Write clean scalable and maintainable code while actively participating in code reviews and technical discussions
• Analyze legacy and unreviewed code to identify technical debt systemic issues and architectural risks
• Proactively identify inefficiencies gaps and areas for improvement proposing and implementing solutions
• Collaborate with engineering and product teams to define technical objectives and execute roadmap initiatives
• Advocate for architectural improvements and negotiate technical decisions with peer engineering teams
• Contribute to long-term platform evolution while balancing short-term business priorities
• Ensure reliability and performance of high-load production systems

Qualifications :

• 5 years of commercial software development experience
• Strong proficiency in Golang
• Strong computer science fundamentals including algorithms data structures and system design
• Experience across the full software development lifecycle from planning and objective-setting to delivery and support
• Proven experience working with high-load high-traffic production systems
• Solid understanding of scalable and maintainable backend architecture principles
• Ability to independently work with large and unfamiliar codebases
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Demonstrated proactive mindset with the ability to identify issues before escalation
• Experience aligning technical solutions with business and customer needs
• Ability to effectively communicate and negotiate technical direction with engineering stakeholders
• Upper-Intermediate English level

WILL BE A PLUS

• Experience with C Objective-C or Rust
• Previous experience as a primary owner of a large-scale legacy system
• Experience working within cybersecurity or infrastructure-focused products
• Background in distributed systems and service-oriented architectures
