Senior Platform Engineer

Job Overview:
The Platform Engineer is responsible for designing building and operating secure reliable and scalable internal data and cloud platforms enabling self-service capabilities and accelerating delivery for data analytics and engineering teams across the organization.

Essential Functions:
* Design implement and operate internal platform services (e.g. cloud infrastructure data platforms CI/CD automation).
* Own and evolve platform components with a product mindset focusing on reliability security scalability and usability.
* Collaborate with software data and DevOps teams to enable self-service provisioning and standardized platform usage.
* Automate infrastructure and operational processes using Infrastructure as Code and scripting.
* Support platform adoption troubleshooting and operational stability including incident and problem resolution.
* Contribute to platform architecture technical standards documentation and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications:
* Strong experience in platform engineering DevOps or cloud infrastructure roles.
* Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (Azure preferred) containerization CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code tools.
* Solid understanding of Linux-based systems networking and security fundamentals.
* Experience supporting data or analytics platforms (e.g. Databricks Snowflake) is a strong advantage.
* Ability to work effectively in cross-functional international teams with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
