Job Summary
Position Description:
We are looking for an experienced Senior Database Administrator / Senior Oracle DBA to maintain and further develop business-critical Oracle database environments in an international IT environment.
The role is based in Warsaw and offers a hybrid working model al. Jerozolimskie 100
Job responsibilities:
Administration of Oracle databases
Installation configuration and monitoring of database environments
Patching upgrades and ensuring system stability
Performance tuning and capacity planning
Backup/recovery and database migrations
Support for incident change and problem management processes
Collaboration with business teams providers and vendors.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
Minimum 5 years of experience as a DBA
Very good knowledge of Oracle Database
Experience with high availability backup/recovery migrations and performance optimization
Knowledge of Linux/UNIX
Knowledge of IT infrastructure and public/private cloud
Understanding of IT security business continuity and operational processes
Experience in project work and Agile/Scrum
Good English skills
Experience with Jira and Confluence
Nice to have: Oracle Cloud ITSM or project management certifications.
