Ansell is looking for a Senior Market Development Specialist EMEA to join our team in Cracow Poland or Brussels Belgium or UK (Remote).

The Senior Market Development Specialist is a non-sales role responsible for supporting the development and shaping of market opportunities for Ansells Chemical BU portfolio across the EMEA region. Rather than holding direct sales or revenue targets the role focuses on generating market insights identifying growth opportunities and influencing product adoption through technical expertise and engagement with distributors end users procurement teams technical specialists and other key stakeholders.

The position works closely with end users specifiers and industry stakeholders to understand operational challenges identify emerging market needs and gather market and competitive intelligence. By influencing technical specifications promoting best practices within regulated and high-risk environments and identifying future market opportunities the role helps strengthen Ansells market position and provides valuable market intelligence to support regional sales teams.

Working collaboratively with distributors tender management functions marketing and regional sales teams the Senior Market Development Specialist ensures that customer insights and market requirements are translated into effective market development strategies supporting long-term business growth without direct responsibility for sales generation or account management.

What your role will be

Market Insight & Intelligence
Build understanding of target industries regulatory environments and emerging risks. Gather and share structured market customer and competitor insights to support Sales Product Management Marketing and R&D.

Specification & Tender Support
Identify upcoming projects procurement cycles and tender opportunities at an early stage. Support alignment of technical requirements and specifications with Ansell solutions in collaboration with Sales and Tender Management teams.

Product & Application Expertise
Develop strong knowledge of Ansells chemical protective clothing portfolio and its applications. Communicate product capabilities within operational and regulatory contexts and support product positioning and new product introductions.

Market Development Activities
Contribute to regional market development initiatives including trade shows technical seminars and customer workshops. Support longterm opportunity pipeline development across key verticals.

CrossFunctional Collaboration & Reporting
Act as a link between external market activity and internal teams sharing insights and early opportunity visibility. Collaborate with Tender Management to support effective tender planning and pipeline alignment.

End User & Stakeholder Engagement
Engage with end users safety professionals and technical stakeholders to understand protection needs and operational challenges. Support earlystage relationship building product demonstrations technical discussions and training activities.

Distributor & Channel Support
Support distributor development through training application knowledge and market insights. Collaborate with sales teams to strengthen channel effectiveness in targeted markets.

Regional & Cultural Awareness
Adapt to regional market differences and communicate effectively across diverse customer distributor and internal stakeholder groups.

KEY POSITION REQUIREMENTS

Education

Bachelors degree and/or Masters degree a plus.

Job Experience

  • 2 years of experience in market development or related roles
  • Experience working with distributors and/or end users in technical or regulated product environments
  • Exposure to tender-based or specification-driven markets is advantageous.

Knowledge and Skills

Business awareness and understanding of indirect sales models

Ability to analyse market information and translate into actionable insights

Strong communication and presentation skills

Organised and structured approach to managing information and activities

Ability to support long-term opportunity development

Proficiency in English fluency in French or/and other languages are a plus.

Desirable Job Competencies

Highly motivated and accountable for owning business outcomes including planning execution and forecasting.

Strong communication influencing and negotiation skills.

Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence and align crossfunctional teams.
