Job Summary
For our client from the banking industry we are looking for an experienced Senior Java Developer to join a team responsible for developing and maintaining critical business applications in a modern technology environment.
Your Responsibilities
- Design develop and maintain applications within the banking domain
- Collaborate closely with Business Analysts and QA Engineers in a self-organizing Agile (Scrum) team
- Ensure the security and reliability of developed solutions
- Create and maintain unit and automated tests
- Work with large-scale datasets of various structures
- Integrate applications with internal banking systems
- Optimize and enhance existing solutions to meet business and technical requirements
Qualifications :
Requirements
- At least 5 years of commercial experience in Java development
- Strong knowledge of Java 17
- Hands-on experience with cloud technologies preferably Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
- Experience working with Kubernetes
- Solid understanding of RDBMS databases
- Strong knowledge of software development best practices and design principles including SOLID DRY KISS and Clean Code
- Experience with the full software development lifecycle
- English & Polish proficiency at B2 level.
Nice to Have
- Experience with Apache Cassandra
- Basic knowledge of Python
- Experience working in complex highly integrated environments
- Understanding of testable software design and automated testing practices
- Experience with data modeling and SQL query optimization
- Knowledge of microservices architecture
Additional Information :
Hybrid work model: 2 days from the office 3 days of home office.
Office locations: Warszawa Lublin Poznań Katowice Łódź and Rzeszów
