Senior Java Software Engineer

We are looking for a Senior Java Software Engineer to help drive the evolution of our workflow platform joining an engineering team responsible for the OnePlace Workflow Platform a strategic client platform integrated with numerous systems across the organization.

Please note that working from the clients office in Krakow is required 3 days per week.

• Provide technical leadership and guidance to a team of developers delivering end-to-end software solutions
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into scalable maintainable solutions within the workflow and ticket management ecosystem
• Design develop test and deploy high-quality applications and services using modern engineering practices
• Collaborate closely with business stakeholders architects and globally distributed technology teams
• Contribute actively as part of an Agile Scrum team helping shape technical direction and delivery priorities
• Support production systems through Level 3 support activities including incident resolution troubleshooting rollout assistance and operational improvements
• Drive engineering excellence through automation testing code quality and adoption of emerging technologies
• Play a key role in shaping the platforms future architecture and advancing AI-enabled development practices

• 5 years of experience in technical leadership and driving technical decisions
• Strong background in enterprise software architecture and building large-scale highly scalable applications
• Excellent knowledge of modern Java and experience with Spring Boot and/or Quarkus
• Hands-on experience implementing automated testing strategies across unit integration and end-to-end testing layers
• Experience across the full software development lifecycle from requirements analysis and solution design to deployment and production support
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies particularly Scrum
• Excellent analytical problem-solving and communication skills
• Experience working with relational databases Redis and Azure AI Search
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes particularly Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS)
• Advanced proficiency with GitHub Copilot and AI-assisted software development
• Experience leveraging AI tools for rapid prototyping exploratory development automation and engineering productivity
• Familiarity with cloud-native architectures event-driven systems and distributed platforms
• English proficiency at B2 level or higher
