We are looking for an experienced Senior Java Developer to join a team working on modern distributed applications within the banking and financial services sector.
You will be involved in developing and maintaining scalable microservices-based solutions working closely with other developers and technical teams. The role combines backend development with elements of full-stack work and requires strong experience with Java Spring Boot and modern cloud-native technologies.
- Design develop and maintain Java-based applications and microservices
- Build and integrate REST and gRPC services
- Work with Spring Boot and modern Java technologies
- Develop and maintain applications running in Kubernetes
- Work with relational databases preferably Oracle
- Participate in automated testing using Cucumber
- Collaborate with other developers and technical teams to deliver reliable and scalable solutions
- Contribute to technical design and continuous improvement of the application architecture
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in a distributed environment
- 10 years of professional software development experience
- Strong commercial experience with Java
- Very good knowledge of Spring Boot
- Experience with microservices architecture
- Experience developing REST APIs
- Experience with Kubernetes
- Good knowledge of SQL
- Experience with Maven
- Previous experience in banking or financial services
- Experience with automated testing preferably Cucumber
- Good understanding of distributed systems and modern software development practices
- Fluent English and Polish
- Experience with Oracle
- Experience with gRPC
- Experience working in large-scale enterprise environments
- Relocation package (4500 PLN total value) paid in three installments (1500 PLN per month) in case your permanent presence in the office is mandatory and you need to relocate from another city
