Senior Infrastructure Engineer (PHP, Symfony) with French

We are looking for Senior Infrastructure Engineer (PHP Symfony) with French to join Sopra Steria Polska for a team that cooperates with one of our French clients. 

Responsibilities 

• Develop maintain and enhance applications and services using PHP Symfony and MariaDB. 
• Design implement and support APIs and system integrations between business applications and IT platforms. 
• Build and optimize backend and frontend components to meet business and technical requirements. 
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support efficient and reliable software delivery. 
• Develop and execute unit and end-to-end (E2E) tests to ensure application quality and stability. 
• Support the containerization of applications and related deployment processes. 
• Troubleshoot analyze and resolve application and integration issues. 
• Create and maintain technical and operational documentation. 
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives related to development automation and software delivery processes. 

Qualifications :

Must Have Requirements 

• Senior-level experience in application development and automation. 
• Strong hands-on experience with PHP Symfony and MariaDB. 
• Experience designing developing and supporting APIs and system integrations. 
• Experience in backend and frontend development. 
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and software delivery processes. 
• Experience with unit testing and end-to-end (E2E) testing. 
• Experience with application containerization technologies. 
• Strong troubleshooting analytical and problem-solving skills. 
• Ability to create and maintain technical and operational documentation. 
• Strong communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams. 
• Proactive and detail-oriented. 
• Ability to document processes and share knowledge effectively. 
• Very good command of French & English (min. B2) daily communication with the client. 
• Being open to occasional business trips abroad and regular visits in our office in Katowice. 

Nice to Have 

• Symfony Certification. 
• DevOps Foundation Certification.
