Were seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer to join our clients growing engineering team in Krakow. Youll take ownership of both frontend and backend development working on features that directly impact how students learn and teachers teach. If you have 10 years of experience building scalable applications with React and Python this contract role offers the opportunity to work on meaningful products whilst contributing to architectural decisions.

Position Overview

This Senior Full Stack Engineer role sits at the heart of our clients platform development. Youll own full-stack responsibilities across student-facing interfaces and robust backend services. Your work will directly influence how the platform scales performs and serves its users. Youll collaborate with design product and operations teams to translate requirements into clean maintainable code whilst establishing best practices across the engineering organisation.

Responsibilities

Build and ship React features for student dashboards and learning flows using TypeScript and JavaScript

Write clean maintainable code across the frontend codebase with strong focus on accessibility and performance

Manage application state using Redux Zustand or Context API

Write unit and integration tests for frontend components and user flows

Design and maintain Python backend APIs serving multiple client applications

Implement asynchronous processing and queue-based communication between services using SQS and Celery

Design data access patterns across NoSQL (DynamoDB) and relational (PostgreSQL) databases

Integrate backend services with internal systems external APIs and AI/LLM-based components

Build and maintain operational tooling for day-to-day platform tasks

Contribute to observability by implementing logging metrics tracing and alerting across distributed services

Set up and improve CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation

Raise code quality standards through thorough code reviews and clear documentation

Requirements

10 years of professional software development experience

Strong expertise in React TypeScript and JavaScript for frontend development

Proven experience designing and building Python backend APIs

Solid understanding of microservices architecture and distributed systems

Experience with asynchronous processing frameworks (Celery SQS or similar)

Proficiency with both NoSQL (DynamoDB) and relational (PostgreSQL) databases

Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation

Knowledge of observability practices: logging metrics tracing and alerting

Familiarity with containerisation and orchestration tools

Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams

Experience contributing to architectural decisions and mentoring other engineers
