Position: Senior FP&A Specialist Poland

Location: Warsaw Poland

Position Overview:

The Senior FP&A (Financial Planning and Analysis) Specialist for Poland works closely with cross-functional teams to support budgeting forecasting financial reporting and variance analysis reporting to the Poland FP&A Lead. This role plays a key part in driving financial performance business partnering and data-driven decision making across the Poland market. The position has a strong focus on continuous improvement process enhancement digital transformation and leveraging data analytics to support business insights working alongside the local finance team Regional Finance COE and business stakeholders.

Primary Responsibilities:

Financial Planning and Forecasting:

  • Support the business units in preparing annual budgets and periodic forecasts.

  • Consolidate forecast inputs from Business Partners and support areas into company forecasting systems validating planning assumptions and ensuring accuracy of planning inputs (gross-to-net pricing sales units operating expenses and headcount).

  • Coordinate the management and tracking of Risks & Opportunities (R&O) and support development of mitigation plans.

  • Support preparation of financial presentations and recommendations for the Finance Director Managing Director and Country Leadership Team during forecast cycles.

  • Provide financial insights and challenge assumptions to improve forecast accuracy and business decision-making.

Financial Analysis and Reporting:

  • Prepare standard and ad hoc reports from company forecasting and reporting systems for local regional and global stakeholders.

  • Perform financial analysis including profitability analysis expense analysis productivity tracking scenario modeling and trend analysis to support strategic decisions.

  • Support monthly close activities mid-month sales estimates and analysis of actual results versus forecast budget and prior year.

  • Provide financial support and analytical insights to Finance Business Partners and business stakeholders across commercial and support functions.

  • Develop meaningful financial narratives and executive-level summaries to communicate key business drivers and performance trends.

Digital Data Analytics and Process Enhancement:

  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to simplify standardize and enhance FP&A processes.

  • Collaborate with regional and global colleagues to maintain consistent and efficient planning and reporting processes aligned with best practices.

  • Identify opportunities to improve financial reporting data quality automation and analytical capabilities.

  • Partner with business users to identify reporting needs and translate them into actionable dashboard solutions.

  • Continuously improve reporting automation and visualization to enable faster and more effective decision-making.

Other Responsibilities:

  • Participate in cross-functional projects and provide financial expertise and analysis to support business initiatives and decision-making.

  • Support business case development and investment evaluations as required.

  • Stay updated with industry trends financial regulations accounting standards digital technologies and AI developments relevant to Finance.

  • Contribute to the development of a high-performing and collaborative FP&A organization.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Finance Accounting Economics Business Administration or a related field.

  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles financial planning methodologies and financial controls.

  • Proven experience in financial planning and analysis budgeting forecasting and financial reporting with a minimum of 5-8 years of relevant work experience.

  • Strong proficiency in financial modeling forecasting techniques and advanced Microsoft Excel capabilities.

  • Familiarity with financial systems and software (e.g. SAP BPC LPT Power BI Planning Dashboards and other reporting platforms).

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and generate actionable insights and recommendations.

  • Experience working with large datasets and translating data into meaningful business stories.

  • Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to explain financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.

  • Strong business acumen and understanding of key drivers of financial performance within a commercial organization.

  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational prioritization and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional and matrix environment.

  • Demonstrated continuous improvement mindset and willingness to challenge existing processes.

  • Bring a high level of energy ownership and desire to contribute to the development of a high-performing FP&A team.

  • Fluent in English and Polish

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience creating developing and maintaining Power BI dashboards and management reporting solutions.

  • Knowledge of data visualization best practices and business intelligence tools.

  • Experience utilizing AI-enabled tools automation technologies and digital solutions to improve financial processes and analytics.

  • Working knowledge of data analytics process automation and digital finance transformation initiatives.

  • Experience within the pharmaceutical healthcare or multinational organization environment is an advantage.
