Job Summary

As a (Senior) Director AI Engineering you will shape the strategic direction of our AI Engineering practice while leading large-scale AI transformation programs for global clients. You will combine commercial leadership technical expertise and people leadership to build scalable AI capabilities develop innovative AI offerings and expand Simon-Kuchers market position in enterprise AI.
Working closely with senior client executives partners technology providers and multidisciplinary teams you will drive the adoption of AI at scale while growing both our client relationships and our AI Engineering role can be performed fully remotely within Poland.
The salary for this position ranges from PLN 34 000 to PLN 35 200 gross per month under an employment contract (UoP) depending on the candidates relevant experience skill set level of expertise and overall fit for the role. Additional factors such as industry background technical competencies and interview performance may also influence the final offer. The compensation package at Simon-Kucher CBS consists of a gross base salary a monthly remote work allowance and an annual bonus. The bonus is paid in December and is based on the results of a 360-degree performance evaluation.

- Define enterprise AI strategies operating models and AI transformation roadmaps for global clients.
- Advise executive stakeholders on the adoption of Agentic AI Generative AI and enterprise architecture.
- Lead multiple AI transformation programs while ensuring delivery excellence across complex client engagements.
- Build and grow long-term client relationships and identify opportunities to expand AI engagements.
- Drive commercial growth by shaping proposals developing new AI offerings and contributing to business development activities.
- Lead multidisciplinary teams of AI engineers consultants and technology specialists while fostering a high-performance culture.
- Establish engineering standards AI operating models governance frameworks and reusable methodologies across projects.
- Drive capability development through thought leadership reusable intellectual property accelerators and innovation initiatives.
- Collaborate with strategic technology partners and contribute to Simon-Kuchers long-term AI strategy and market positioning.
- You have 7 years of experience in AI Engineering Machine Learning Engineering Software Engineering or Applied AI.
- You have a university degree in Computer Science Data Science Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
- You combine strong AI expertise with commercial experience across pricing sales marketing and customer experience.
- You have experience in leading technical projects and take on ownership of technical solutions.
- You have strong people leadership experience and enjoy coaching developing and growing technical teams.
- You have demonstrated success in business development proposal development and expanding client relationships.
- You have knowledge of Power Automate or similar workflow automation platforms.
- You are strong in Python including API development and integration patterns.
- You have deep hands-on experience delivering LLM-based solutions (RAG tool calling agentic workflows) with LangChain and/or LangGraph or similar AI orchestration frameworks.
- Experience with Azure ecosystem (AI Foundry Container Apps Functions).
- You communicate clearly in English (C1) and can align technical decisions with business constraints.
- You are willing to travel as required by client/project.
