The Senior Analyst Records and Information Management (RIM) will join Baxters Global RIM Department and will perform activities necessary to help manage Baxters Global RIM program. This position will report to the Program Manager Global Records & Information Management.
Key Responsibilities
Qualified candidates will be expected to work with stakeholders across Baxters corporate functions divisions and countries to ensure Baxters Global RIM program is effectively managed. This role is responsible for varying RIM activities specifically related to:
- Maintaining currency of the records retention schedule and associated RIM database.
- Routinely analyzing retention time periods to ensure business obligations are met by conducting and/or evaluating research industry standards and best practices.
- Promoting compliance with legal regulatory financial and operational record keeping requirements (e.g. retention data minimization GDPR risk mitigation defensible destruction).
- Providing consultation to Baxter personnel for general RIM program questions.
- Developing employee communications quick reference guides job aids and training content to support RIM initiatives.
- Keeping Records Liaison and Records Storage Coordinator networks updated.
- Tracking various survey completions sending reminders compiling results and recommending next steps.
- Analyzing and updating metadata on physical Records stored with offsite records storage vendors.
- Aiding in annual records destruction activity tracking (manage reports for destruction reviews sent responses received orders requested and completed)
- Proactively examining and evaluating records management systems to recommend new or improve existing methods for the efficient handling protecting and disposing of records and information:
- Monitoring Global RIM program KPIs and program effectiveness.
Qualifications
- Strong communication skills (written and oral)
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to create project plans and manage project deadlines
- Able to evaluate and analyze problems and recommend creative/innovative solutions
- Able to collaborate and work successfully in a diverse team environment on a global scale while meeting differing stakeholder interests
- Proficiency in using computers and other Baxter technologies
Education and/or Experience
- Bachelors degree (preferred)
- Knowledge of Records and Information Management industry standards and best practices (e.g. GDPR ISO GARP HIPAA SOX) (preferred)
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (e.g. Word Excel PowerPoint Outlook)
