Job Summary
Job Description:
- Member of the project team in charge of implementing & driving project related procurement activities for the plant to support the project delivery on time in full on quality and on budget.
- Contributes to successful project governance by actively participating and preparing project meetings and expected deliverables.
- Participates in implementing & maintaining the proper governance with project suppliers.
- Manages critical project/ plant suppliers according to project key success factors (costs quality OTIF) and always by using a risk management approach.
- SAP purchasing module user:
- Monitors and updates SAP item prices and purchasing contracts.
- Ensures administrative management of orders for the plant/ project.
- Participates in the financial monitoring process of supplier quality / invoice disputes.
- Plays a key role in the implementation and continuous improvement of the SRM directly linked to vendor master data.
- Uses the purchasing process for the execution of site purchases: supplier evaluation tendering supplier selection negotiation contracting.
- Uses plant supplier panel and global categories supplier panels
- Achieves savings & cost avoidance KPI through the use of all possible levers (negotiation benchmarking technical productivity lean etc.)
- Negotiates purchase terms with suppliers for specific related orders (quality cost lead time payment terms) while respecting the interests of both parties
- Manage critical suppliers according to key success factors (cost quality OTIF) using a risk management approach
- Provides support to quality and technical teams for specification writing.
- Ensures document management of specifications plant purchasing contracts SAP purchasing contracts supplier documentation.
Qualifications :
Qualifications:
- Fluent in English (written and oral)
- Proficiency with SAP MM module
- Familiar with purchasing process and SRM
- 3 years of experience in procurement position
- Higher educational background
- Has a good understanding of the logistics supply chain & risk management approach
- Ability to navigate and operate in a complex environment & matrix organization
- Proficiency in MS office tools
- Problem-solving skills
- Negotiation skills
