• Define the mandatory standards and certifications for Motorola products in relation to the reference markets. Define in agreement with marketing the voluntary certifications and tests to be applied to Motorola products.

• Intervene during the new product development phase to guide technical choices ensuring they align with the standards and product regulatory requirements.

• Coordinate the necessary actions to guarantee the certification of products according to voluntary and mandatory standards following this process both internally at Motorola and at any accredited external bodies ensuring compliance with the established timelines. Guarantee the execution and working with project managers the successful completion of any required external tests. Create and keep updated the archive of declarations of conformity certifications and official product test reports.

• Prepare the EU Declarations of Conformity and other regulatory documents and support Type Approvals and Inspections in EMEA region
