We are seeking a highly motivated Product Owner to drive the strategic development of our agentic AI products. This individual will serve as the bridge between our business stakeholders and the engineering teams translating strategic vision into actionable development tasks. Key responsibilities include defining prioritizing and executing the product roadmap.

As a Product Owner at Kyriba you are the execution engine that translates product strategy into shipped features. You own the product backlog partner daily with engineering teams and ensure high-quality delivery of capabilities that delight customers and drive business outcomes.

This is a pure execution role focused on sprint-level delivery not product strategy. You will work embedded with a development team writing user stories prioritizing sprints and validating that what we build meets customer needs. Success means your engineering team consistently delivers high-quality features on time with clear requirements and minimal rework.

Essential duties and responsibilities:
  • Drive cross-functional product execution including running agile ceremonies and overseeing all stages of the development process.

  • Own the product backlog end-to-end - managing requirements gathering creation of specifications prioritization and continuous refinement - by balancing business value technical feasibility security and delivery risk.

  • Clearly articulate the product vision and strategic goals to the development team to ensure alignment on what is being built and why.

  • Facilitate cross-functional alignment among Product Engineering Release Management and Operations.

Backlog Ownership & Execution

  • Own the product backlog

  • Translate Product Managers roadmap and epics into sprint-ready user stories

  • Maintain a healthy prioritized backlog with 2-3 sprints of ready work

  • Write clear concise user stories with well-defined acceptance criteria

  • Break down complex features into deliverable increments

  • Ensure stories meet Definition of Ready before sprint planning

  • Prioritize backlog based on business value dependencies and technical considerations

Sprint execution

  • Make sprint-level prioritization decisions with engineering team

  • Facilitate sprint planning backlog refinement and sprint reviews

  • Ensure team understands the why behind features and priorities

  • Make tactical trade-offs to maintain sprint momentum

  • Adapt plans based on technical findings and constraints

Scrum Team Partnership

Be the engineering teams daily partner

  • Attend all Scrum ceremonies (daily standup planning review retrospective)

  • Be available to answer questions and clarify requirements in real-time

  • Collaborate with engineers on technical approaches and implementation details

  • Remove blockers and facilitate rapid decision-making

  • Provide timely feedback on work-in-progress

  • Build trust as the teams reliable product partner

Quality and delivery

  • Define test scenarios and acceptance criteria

  • Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) for delivered features

  • Validate features meet business requirements and quality standards

  • Identify edge cases and ensure comprehensive coverage

  • Partner with QA on test strategy and coverage

Requirements & Validation

Gather detailed requirements

  • Work with Product Manager to understand customer needs and context

  • Translate high-level requirements into detailed specifications

  • Document business rules workflows and edge cases

  • Create wireframes or mockups to clarify requirements (with design support)

  • Validate requirements with stakeholders before development

Customer validation

  • Support Product Manager in customer discovery and validation

  • Participate in customer demos and gather feedback

  • Conduct usability testing for features in development

  • Ensure customer voice is represented in backlog decisions

Stakeholder Communication

Keep stakeholders informed

  • Provide sprint progress updates to Product Manager

  • Communicate delivery timelines and risks

  • Demo new capabilities in sprint reviews

  • Support Product Manager with launch preparation and documentation

Education Experience & Skills:
  • 2(3) years of experience acting as Product Owner Product Manager or Business/Systems Analyst preferably in B2B SaaS products.

  • Strong analytical and structured problem-solving mindset - able to translate complex needs into scalable solutions.

  • Proven ability to define clear high-quality specifications / Product Requirement Documents (PRDs) and acceptance criteria.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills to ensure proper cross-functional and stakeholder alignment.

  • Full working proficiency in English.

  • Experience working with AI/ML or data products is preferred.

At Kyriba we value pay transparency and fairness.

For new hires the annual base salary range for this role is zł186000.00 - zł235350.00 based on a full-time schedule. Salary can progress beyond this range through sustained performance and demonstrated success in the addition to base pay this position may be eligible for variable compensation (eg. performance bonus or commission-based plan) and a long-term incentive. The final package will be determined by factors such as skills experience and qualifications.
