Product Manager
Job Summary
Sardina Systems builds cloud infrastructure software based on OpenStack Kubernetes and Ceph for cloud operators enterprises and service providers across the globe.
Were looking for a Product Manager who operates at the intersection of customers partners and our engineering team.
This is a customer-facing role with real product impact. You run demos for new leads design system configurations and build product ecosystems via partners and own the market and operational insights that drive product development.
What Youll Be Doing:
- Work with prospective customers to assess infrastructure requirements and design custom FishOS configurations based on technical fit with their hardware
- Build and maintain relationships with channel and technology partners who extend the Sardina ecosystem
- Run product demos for inbound leads and product opportunities
- Translate customer needs into actionable product feedback youre the main signal source for what gets built
- Support customers through the full cycle: demo configuration contracting and go-live
- Coordinate with the engineering team on delivery ensuring customer commitments are realistic and met
- Stay current on OpenStack Kubernetes VMware Ceph and adjacent market developments
What Youll Need:
- 3 years in technical product management solutions engineering or a pre-sales role in enterprise software or cloud infrastructure
- Strong enough technical understanding to work with system architecture and hardware fit you dont write code but you can read a configuration and know what questions to ask
- Comfortable running demos and presenting to both technical and business audiences
- Experience working with channel partners and resellers
- Self-directed and able to manage multiple customer engagements simultaneously
- Able to translate complex infrastructure concepts into clear language without losing accuracy
- Fluent English required; Russian German Dutch French or Swedish is a strong plus
Nice to have:
- Experience with bid and tender preparation
- Education in law and understanding of commercial contracts
- Prior startup or fast-growth environment experience
