Job Summary
About the role
We are looking for a Data Platform Product Manager who combines product thinking with a strong understanding of cloud technologies FinOps and Data Platform this role you will drive the evolution of a modern data platform and enable scalable secure and cost-efficient data capabilities across the organization.
What youll do
- Define and execute the technical roadmap for the data platform.
- Drive the development of cloud-based data environments across Azure Databricks and related technologies.
- Ensure platform scalability reliability security and operational excellence.
- Lead FinOps initiatives cloud cost optimization and budgeting processes.
- Implement and improve DevOps/DataOps practices CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code standards.
- Manage relationships with technology vendors and coordinate procurement activities.
- Oversee contracts SLAs licensing purchase orders and invoice validation processes.
- Collaborate closely with Data AI Engineering Finance and Business stakeholders.
Qualifications :
What were looking for
- 3 years of experience managing a data platform or technical product.
- Hands-on experience with Databricks Azure Data Services or similar cloud data ecosystems.
- Practical knowledge of FinOps and cloud cost optimization.
- Experience with DevOps/DataOps practices CI/CD and Infrastructure as Code.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Experience working with technology vendors contracts and procurement processes.
- Understanding of budgeting purchase orders and financial governance processes.
- English proficiency at C1 level or higher.
Nice to have
- Experience with Data Mesh Data Governance or Lakehouse architecture.
- Azure FinOps or Product Management certifications.
- Knowledge of Power BI Tableau dbt or Atlan.
- Familiarity with GDPR AI Act and modern data governance standards.
