Why is this job for you:
The S2P Process Steward is responsible for driving excellence standardization and compliance across end-to-end Source-to-Procure (S2P) processes and procurement systems in EMEA.
This role acts as a senior Procurement Operations Subject Matter Expert owning complex process and system initiatives supporting operational continuity and ensuring procurement systems master data and processes are designed and operated in line with EUDR internal controls and regulatory requirements.
The role partners closely with Procurement Sustainability IT Shared Services and external providers to deliver scalable compliant and user-focused procurement solutions.
The S2P Process Steward reports to the Procurement Systems & Operations Enablement Manager partners with Procurement and Purchasing teams IT teams Shared Services Sustainability Paper Sourcing and other stakeholders collaborating with Group Procurement.
You will:
S2P Process & Systems Excellence
Ensure the continuous improvement and efficiency of procurement processes across the EMEA region to simplify improve user experience and reduce non-value add activity with Procurement technology owners / operators and Shared Services in line with Procurements 80/20 principles
Conduct thorough analysis of existing processes identify inefficiencies and gaps and opportunities for standardization propose and implement improvements
Develop and manage a comprehensive approach to master data management ensuring data quality consistency and accuracy across all procurement systems
Act as end-to-end process owner for assigned areas from the design implementation testing and sustain
Collaborate closely with sub-regional Procurement colleagues to optimise solutions that fit our various business needs
Digital Data and Technology Partnership
Be the Subject Matter Expert in the procurement systems tools and related business processes
Define business requirements and translate them into system and process solutions in partnership with IT
Promote a culture of continuous improvement technical excellence and strong stakeholder partnerships within the team
Support optimization and utilization of existing procurement tools (e.g. SAP Ariba Coupa supplier onboarding and risk tools)
Partner with IT and finance to ensure we leverage the procurement technologies we already have to enhance effectiveness and improve user experience e.g. to drive value self-serve and other solutions for tail spend reduction
Identify opportunities to improve system utilization process automation and operational efficiency; develop business cases and implementation plans
EUDR Compliance & Supplier Risk Management
Own and administer Procurement-related EUDR processes ensuring alignment between procurement systems supplier master data and EUDR platforms (e.g. Osapiens)
Act as procurement point of contact for EUDR supplier risk assessments monitoring completion re-assessments and mitigation actions
Ensure procurement processes and data support full EUDR due diligence requirements and audit readiness
Partner with Sustainability Legal Risk and Procurement stakeholders to continuously improve EUDR compliance processes
Prepare and present EUDR-related reporting highlighting risks overdue actions and areas requiring escalation
Training Documentation & Change Management
Develop comprehensive training documentation process documentation and test environments to support system and process changes
Deliver training on SAP procurement tools systems and processes to end users and process owners
Ensure effective communication of new processes projects and enhancements to end users and stakeholders
Manage user requests queue responding to and resolving issues in a timely manner; recommend long-term solutions for recurring issues
Ensure business continuity while managing multiple initiatives in parallel
Stakeholder Engagement & Project Delivery
Deliver solutions at the pace of business priorities through collaboration with cross-functional stakeholder groups
Build partnerships and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders with ability to listen interpret influence negotiate inspire and challenge
Ensure business continuity through ongoing operational support while managing multiple projects simultaneously
Communicate project status risks and decisions to project teams and steering committees; escalate issues appropriately
You have:
7 years of experience in Procurement field. Expertise in end to end Procurement or Business Process Management
Extensive experience in digitising key Procurement operational processes procure to pay master data management supplier onboarding and risk screening solutions.
Agile and digital mindset continuous pursuit of excellence and automation
Advanced knowledge in SAP MM or similar ERP systems. Familiarity with other procurement platforms and tools like SAP ARIBA Coupa
Knowledge of RPA VBA and AI is an asset
Process documentation and visualization tools along with Microsoft Suite proficiency is essential
Experience working in complex matrix multinational organizations
Track record influencing and managing senior stakeholders and driving change across- border teams. Ability to develop compelling business cases and presentations
Experience in process or value chain engineering skills (lean 6 sigma etc); qualifications and certifications are desirable. Expertise in Procurement process design problem solving and simplification in a large corporate and or multi-national/s
Adaptive style when deploy change across a complex organisation
Strong capability to embed practices through effective change management and communications methods
Proven track record of delivery system implementation experience is a must
