Main purpose of the position:

We are looking for an experienced OTC Subject Matter Expert (SME) to join our growing finance team in Gdańsk. This is a key role within the Order-to-Cash function where you will act as a knowledge hub process expert and problem solver supporting both the team and stakeholders while ensuring high-quality and efficient operations.

As an SME you will take ownership of a designated OTC area ensuring operational excellence SLA adherence and continuous improvement while acting as a bridge between daily operations and strategic direction.

What will you do:

  • Act as a go-to expert for OTC processes.
  • Independently execute and prioritize monthly tasks identifying errors and inconveniences and resolving them promptly.
  • Support the team with complex cases and escalations.
  • Monitor process performance ensuring timely completion and accuracy of all tasks in line with SLAs and established standards.
  • Drive improvements (automation standardization optimization) together with Senior SME.
  • Maintain process documentation and support onboarding of new joiners.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across the business.
  • Support Senior SME in internal and external audit requests.
  • Contribute to cross-functional and special projects as an active team member as required.
  • Support the Team Lead in maintaining process stability and operational continuity.

Professional skills you possess:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in OTC: Order to Invoice Invoice to Cash Shared service center (SSC) experience being a plus.
  • End-to-End process understanding including billing setup bookkeeping accounting documents reconciliations troubleshooting and testing.
  • Excellent accounting understanding with solid knowledge of OTC processes data and system logic.
  • Strong knowledge of Excel including advanced formulas.
  • SAP understanding or similar ERP experience.
  • Fluent in English.
