Our client is seeking an experienced Market Risk Business Analyst to lead the planning and implementation of a control framework uplift for stress testing. Position Overview

This role focuses on designing and implementing a control framework uplift for stress testing data. You will lead requirements management solution design and change implementation across Market Risk and Counterparty Credit Risk functions. Your work will directly strengthen the organisations risk governance enhance regulatory compliance and improve operational efficiency. Youll work closely with programme management stakeholders and technical teams to ensure the new framework is seamlessly integrated and delivers measurable value.

Responsibilities
  • Lead requirements gathering and solution design translating business needs into structured implementable frameworks
  • Drive planning and execution of the stress testing control framework uplift in line with risk and regulatory standards
  • Assess potential solutions by evaluating costs benefits risks and providing evidence-based recommendations
  • Identify and mitigate risks and issues proactively ensuring smooth project delivery and stakeholder confidence
  • Communicate complex information clearly to diverse audiences from technical teams to senior leadership
  • Evaluate the impact of changes on the target operating model and develop mitigation strategies
  • Assess change requests with programme management to ensure alignment with business priorities and objectives
  • Engage key stakeholders across Market Risk and Counterparty Credit Risk to ensure effective framework integration
  • Understand organisational priorities business drivers and competitive landscape to deliver strategically aligned solutions
  • Foster a collaborative and professional team environment that supports successful delivery
Requirements
  • Proven business analysis experience in requirements gathering solution design and business process reengineering
  • Strong knowledge of Market Risk components; Counterparty Credit Risk experience is highly desirable
  • Project management and business analysis expertise particularly in risk-related transformation initiatives
  • Demonstrated experience in change and implementation management with proven adoption techniques
  • Familiarity with project methodologies including Waterfall and Agile/Scrum
  • Proficiency with project management tools such as Clarity JIRA MS Office and Visio
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with experience applying Design Thinking methodologies
  • Excellent communication negotiation and stakeholder management skills across all organisational levels
  • Experience working with international teams and global stakeholders in regional and global contexts
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to take ownership and drive tasks to completion
  • Background in banking financial services or shared services organisations is advantageous
