Manager Master Data Governance
In this role a typical day will include:
Provide operational management of Local Data Stewards in the region.
Perform and manage MDM daily operations and projects across the Alcon division for all Franchises and region
Lead one or more concurrent major projects affecting multiple Divisions Franchises and Regions addressing internal and external customer needs to support commercial goals
Help to achieve department budget within agreed-upon targets
Responsible for personal talent development of LDS in the region
Maintain and enhance compliance with Group internal and external controls
WHAT YOULL BRING TO ALCON:
- Fluency (written and spoken) in English
- 5-7 years of experience in Master Data Management within a global environment
- Strong SAP Master Data and Material Master expertise
- Experience leading teams projects or mentoring stakeholders
- Proven background in data migration and SAP implementations
- Strong knowledge of SAP modules (e.g. MM SD FI QM) and business processes
- Experience with master data governance data quality and process improvement
- Ability to manage complex data across multiple systems and geographies
- Excellent analytical problem-solving and communication skills
