Manager, Accounting, Global Inventory COE
Job Summary
Join a high-impact global finance team responsible for ensuring the accuracy control and governance of inventory accounting across a complex international this leadership role you will oversee a team of accounting professionals drive continuous improvement initiatives and partner with cross-functional stakeholders to support operational excellence compliance and financial integrity.
What You Will Do
Lead and develop a team of 5 accounting professionals responsible for inventory-related technical accounting activities.
Ensureaccurateandtimelymonth-end close activities including review and approval of complex journal entries balance sheet reconciliations and inventory accounting transactions.
Oversee key inventory accounting areas including goods received not invoiced goods in transit excess and obsolete inventory costing inventory reserves and inventory-related assets.
Partner with Finance Operations Supply Chain and shared service teams to support financial reporting andtimelybook closure for a large and complex business entity.
Apply andmonitorcompliance with corporate accounting policies and US GAAP requirements across inventory accounting processes.
Support internal and external audits including inventory-related control testing and Sarbanes-Oxley compliance activities.
Drive process improvement standardization system enhancements and transition projects to increase efficiency and strengthen controls.
Serve as the primary point of contact for inventory accounting inquiries and provide guidance on technical accounting matters to business stakeholders.
What You Will Need
Required Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or related field.
Minimum 8 years of experience inaudit accounting or finance.
Minimum 3 yearsof peopleleadership experience.
Fluent English languageproficiency.
Strongexpertisein accounting standards
Knowledge of Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance requirements.
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Masters degree in Accounting Finance or related field
Professional accounting certification(ACCA/CIMA)
Experience with inventory accounting processes and controls
Experience with ERP systems (Oracle SAP JD Edwardsetc)
Polish languageproficiency
Poland Pay Ranges:
- Poland: zł232.300 - zł387.100 PLN Annual
