About the role

We are looking for aLead Software Engineerto join our engineering this role you will combine hands-on software development with technical leadership helping to design build and evolve scalable high-quality software solutions.

You will work closely with engineers product managers and other stakeholders to deliver business value while driving technical excellence across the team.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design development and delivery of scalable software solutions.

• Work closely with Product Managers Engineers and stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver business value.

• Provide technical leadership and support key architectural and technology decisions.

• Contribute throughout the full software development lifecycle from design and implementation to deployment and ongoing support.

• Ensurehigh standardsof code quality reliability performance and security through engineering best practices.

• Support modern development processes including continuous integration automated testing and continuous delivery.

• Mentor and support other engineers encouraging collaboration knowledge sharing and continuous learning.

• Drive continuous improvement of systems processes and engineering practices across the team.

• Extensive hands-on experience developing backend applications using Java and Kotlin.

• Proven experience designing and building scalable maintainable and high-performing software solutions including distributed systems and microservices architectures.

• Strong understanding of software architecture engineering best practices and modern design patterns.

• Experience working with AWS and cloud-native technologies.

• Familiarity withKafka

• Familiarity with event-driven architecture and REST

• Solid knowledge of modern software development practices including automated testing continuous integration and continuous delivery.

• Ability to lead technical discussions make architectural decisions and provide guidance on complex engineering challenges.

• Experience mentoring engineers and supporting the technical growth of team members.

• Strong stakeholder management communication and collaboration skills with experience working in Agile cross-functional teams.

• A pragmatic approach to software engineering balancing technical excellence with business needs and delivery goals.

• Excellent command of English (written and spoken)
