Key responsibilities
Within shipping andlogisticspro-activecommunication and information flow towards our customers is the key in ensuring end-to-end connectivity and transparency.
As our LCL Operations Associate you willbe responsible forensuring a smooth end-to-end shipment process for both import and export shipments.
Manage and execute orders on a daily basis.
Own the order scope as delegated by the LCL & FCL Team Lead.
Monitor new order inflow and the assignment of transport plans by the Operations team.
Update revenue for ordered services at the time of booking and manage any accessorial costs with customer approval (subject to the agreedSOP) prior to billingin accordance withthe terms of the order.
Accrue costs for services delivered overseas within the Maersk network and ensure that ICB billing is closed and clearedin a timely manner.
Accrue vendor costs and work closely with our Finance teams to review incoming vendor invoices and dispute charges that are notin accordance withagreed contracts as well as costs resulting from errors or handling deviations not caused by Maersk or the customer.
Close system files on time after carefully reviewing estimated and billed revenue and ensuring the proper accrual of costs.
Work closely with the Operations team to ensure clear communication and visibility of transport plans including any changes resulting from cargo readiness or adjustments to the transport plan.
Apply process improvements and continuous learning to increase efficiency and effectiveness in daily work.

Your profile
Previousexperience working in a service company (B2B or B2C) preferably involving order management and/or order execution.
Relevant educational background supporting a career in the maritime industrylogisticsand/or supply chain operations.
Experience in LCL and FCL operations would be an advantagebutis not a requirement.
Experience working with order management systems preferably within transportation services (e.g.CargoWise).
Strong communicationskills and experience interacting directly with customers and third-party vendors combined with a customer-focused mindset.
Ability to prioritize and structure work effectively when managing orders with timelines spanning several days or weeks.
Familiarity with shipment billing costaccrualsand related financial processes would be an advantage.
Full-time availability.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
