Project Description:

In this role youll develop and maintain Java-based services and REST APIs collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and contribute to system architecture with a strong focus on reliability security and code quality. Youll also take part in the full software development lifecycle including CI/CD processes automated testing code reviews and production support.

Please note: this is a hybrid position you will be expected to come into the office 6-8 days per month overall (the office is located in Kraków).

Your Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain Java backend services REST APIs and microservices

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable solutions

• Support production systems resolve incidents and troubleshoot issues

• Contribute to system architecture focused on performance and reliability

• Work in Agile teams using CI/CD automated testing and code reviews

• Maintain technical documentation and improve engineering practices

• Act as a technical SME for application and support-related topics

• Identify and manage risks dependencies and delivery blockers
  

Key Requirements:

• Advanced English in speaking and writing

• Strong commercial experience with Java (8/11/17/21) and Spring Boot

• Hands-on experience with REST APIs microservices and SQL databases (PostgreSQL Oracle)

• Familiarity with React MQ/Solace Redis and Kubernetes

• Experience with CI/CD Git Maven/Gradle and DevOps tooling

• Knowledge of monitoring and observability tools (Grafana Splunk Prometheus Jenkins etc.)

• Understanding of application security and testing practices

• Experience working in Agile / DevOps environments

• Strong communication skills and ability to work across distributed teams

• Self-driven customer-oriented and comfortable owning tasks end-to-end
