Job Summary
Youll design and build workflow automation systems using BPMN/DMN/CMMN modeling integrate them with other services and keep them running reliably in production. Youll also talk to non-technical stakeholders regularly so clear communication matters as much as clean code.
Day to day youll be:
Building and maintaining Java-based microservices that power automated workflows
Modeling business processes using BPMN 2.0 DMN and CMMN
Creating custom workers connectors and plugins to meet integration needs
Working with REST APIs event-driven patterns and external task handling
Debugging and tuning workflow performance in live environments
Collaborating with business teams to gather requirements and translate them into working solutions
Managing deployments with Docker and Kubernetes maintaining CI/CD pipelines
Youll need:
3 years of Java development experience (Java 8)
Practical experience with a BPM or workflow platform (Camunda Temporal or similar)
Solid understanding of microservices architecture
Experience with PostgreSQL or MS SQL (MongoDB is a bonus)
Familiarity with scripting languages like Groovy JavaScript or FEEL
Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams
Confidence communicating technical concepts to non-technical people
