AtSimCorp we support some of the biggest financial institutions in the world to manage their investments accounting and operations more effectively by simplifying them. We are looking for the Investment Operations Technology Testing Consultant to join our Testing Services team and help drive testing delivery across multiple client engagements. This role combines practical testing project leadership and direct client collaboration.

Senior Investment Operations Technology Testing Consultantsare experienced professionals who play a critical role in safeguarding and improving the quality ofSimCorpclient solutions by delivering structured high-quality testing services and best-practice testing approaches acrossSimCorpDimension and related platforms. Their work directly supports earlier defect detection increased test coverage and higher levels of test automation. By applying standard testing frameworksleveragingautomation where possible andmaintainingdeep knowledge of client-specific business processes financial workflows and investment management concepts they help ensure that solutions meet both functional and business expectations. Their understanding of financial instruments portfolio management trading accounting and related operational processes enables them tovalidatecomplex end-to-end scenarios reduce risk during releases improve end-user experience and strengthen overall client confidence inSimCorpssolutions.

WHAT YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR

• Analyzing and clarifying complex business and functional requirements to ensure shared understanding of scope risks and quality expectations

• Designing executing andmaintainingtest scenarios and test cases aligned with business needs

• Engaging with customers and stakeholders through meetings on requirements testing approach progress and outcomes

• Documenting and presenting test results defects and quality risks in a clear and structured way

• Supporting incident and defect management through analysis documentation and reporting to enabletimelyresolution and continuous improvement

WHAT WE VALUE

• Educational background in STEM or Finance

• Financialknowledgeininvestmentbankingandaccounting

• Know-howin at least one of the following areas: Front Office Back Office Accountingprocessesor Financial Transaction Workflows

• 3 years ofexperience in software testing or a comparable background

• Practical coding experience (C# preferred; Python JavaScript or PowerShell also welcome) or strong techsavviness

• Experience in creating test automation scripts and scenarios is highly welcome

• Experienceinusageofversioningcontrol(Git/Azure DevOps or similar)

• Hands-onexperienceworkingwithinAgilemethodology

• Strong analytical approach and attention to detail

• Solutionoriented problemsolving

• Proven ability to ensure high client satisfaction

• Effective under time pressure

• Team player eager to share knowledge

• Collaborative mindset with focus on growth

• Clear communication and consulting skills

• Fluency in English (min. B2 or C1)
