Hitachi Digital Controllership Team is holding responsibility of IFRS reporting statutory financial statement preparation and internal controls management in several countries. We collaborate cross-functionally to ensure accounting operations and business decisions are compliant with IFRS and local GAAP regulations. The mission of our Team is to provide valuable insight and reliable financial information for the internal and external stakeholders. Our Teams capabilities are gathered for the years of experience within areas of Revenue GL Tax Internal Controls JSOX Statutory Accounting and External Audit. Expertise knowledge allows us to lead the most important international corporate projects. Join us and have a real impact on the Companys growth!

The role
Every person in our team plays a unique and important your role as Internal Controls and Accounting Manager for Hitachi Digital you will :

• Maintain an effective Internal Controls environment
• Lead compliance activities related to J-SOX (Japanese SOX)
• Perform periodic risk assessments and evaluate the adequacy of key controls
• Coordinate control testing activities and remediation plans for identified deficiencies
• Monitor compliance with corporate policies and financial procedures
• Own corporate accounting policies
• Support internal and external audits and ensure timely closure of audit findings
• Develop and maintain process documentation control narratives and standard operating procedures in cooperation with business owners
• Manage complex accounting transactions and provide technical accounting guidance
• Monitor changes in regulations and accounting standards and assess business impact

What youll bring to the team
At least 3-5 years of experience in similar roles

• Strong background in internal controls governance and financial reporting

Ability to take decisions identify problems and proactively come up with solutions
Working knowledge of IFRS local GAAP and SOX
Accounting qualifications (ACCA CIMA; PIBR might be in progress) will be your additional asset
Exceptional numerical analytical and problem-solving skills with business sense
An ability to work under pressure manage expectations and meet deadlines
Fluent level of English

• Excellent business acumen and judgment and demonstrated ability to work closely and build sustainable business partnerships with Finance & other global functions.
