We are looking for a proactive and adaptable person to join our mechanical simulation team inWaukeshaas anIntern Engineer StaticFEASimulation. In this role you will have a vital role in ensuring the quality and performance of our innovative gas engines. We are a forward-thinking and green-oriented company with an international team of skilled colleagues. You will work closely with Production and Application Engineering to support product development and provide design advice for WaukeshaandJenbacherhigh performanceindustrial reciprocating gas engines. YourResponsibilities:
Work in a global engineering teamonFinite Elementmethod development for core enginecomponents for useacrossINNIO Jenbacherproducts.
Deep dive intofinite elementmodeling(TMF LCF & HCF)of coreenginecomponents(Valvetrain & Torsional Vibration Analysis)and workclosely withour technical experts.
Verifythe models to existing testdataandpotentially develop improved test methods to close gaps in understanding.
Collaboratewithcross-functionalengineeringteamsandbroaden yourtechnical knowledge while deepening yourunderstanding of industrialgasengines business.
YourProfile:
In possession of or working towards a Bachelor/Master of Science/Engineering in Mechanicalengineering.
Passion for mechanical engineering structuralanalysisandreciprocating gas engines.
Strong interest in simulation.
Strong interest and experience with Pythonand data visualization methods.
Self-drivencuriousand analytical thinking.
Problem solving attitude.
Solid communication skills in English.
This is a 2-year fixed-term contract.
