Were looking for an experienced Infrastructure Engineer to join our clients operations team in Warsaw. If you have 8-10 years managing Linux servers strong cloud expertise and a track record of delivering technical solutions during critical customer engagements this contract role offers the opportunity to work on high-impact infrastructure projects whilst developing your skills across leading cloud platforms.
Position Overview
As an Infrastructure Engineer youll provide expert technical support to customers during critical infrastructure escalations migrations and go-live activities. Youll take ownership of complex troubleshooting and root cause analysis working across multiple cloud environments to deliver reliable solutions. Your role extends beyond individual problem-solving - youll actively share learnings with the broader team helping to build organisational capability and ensure consistent service delivery across customer engagements.
Responsibilities
Deliver expert technical support during critical customer escalations migrations and go-live activities
Manage and troubleshoot Linux RedHat and SUSE server environments ensuring optimal performance and stability
Analyse complex technical issues perform root cause analysis and implement sustainable solutions
Provide proactive recommendations and support for planned infrastructure rollout activities
Configure and manage infrastructure using configuration management systems such as Chef Puppet or Ansible
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to networking security backup and disaster recovery
Support on-call duties as required to meet business and customer needs
Share technical insights documentation and learnings to upskill team members and improve service delivery
Requirements
Minimum 8-10 years experience managing Linux RedHat/SUSE servers in production environments
Strong understanding of networking concepts including TCP/IP DHCP IP routing and name resolution
Deep knowledge of Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and experience working across multiple hyperscalers
Solid technical understanding of infrastructure components security backup and recovery strategies
Experience with configuration management systems such as Chef Puppet or Ansible
Proven ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues and perform root cause analysis
Knowledge of OS concepts including high availability disaster recovery LDAP and performance tuning
Strong communication skills with ability to explain technical concepts clearly to customers and colleagues
Well-organised approach to work with willingness to learn take ownership and share knowledge with the team
