Were looking for an experienced Infrastructure Engineer to join our clients operations team in Warsaw. If you have 8-10 years managing Linux servers strong cloud expertise and a track record of delivering technical solutions during critical customer engagements this contract role offers the opportunity to work on high-impact infrastructure projects whilst developing your skills across leading cloud platforms.
As an Infrastructure Engineer youll provide expert technical support to customers during critical infrastructure escalations migrations and go-live activities. Youll take ownership of complex troubleshooting and root cause analysis working across multiple cloud environments to deliver reliable solutions. Your role extends beyond individual problem-solving - youll actively share learnings with the broader team helping to build organisational capability and ensure consistent service delivery across customer engagements.
- Deliver expert technical support during critical customer escalations migrations and go-live activities
- Manage and troubleshoot Linux RedHat and SUSE server environments ensuring optimal performance and stability
- Analyse complex technical issues perform root cause analysis and implement sustainable solutions
- Provide proactive recommendations and support for planned infrastructure rollout activities
- Configure and manage infrastructure using configuration management systems such as Chef Puppet or Ansible
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to networking security backup and disaster recovery
- Support on-call duties as required to meet business and customer needs
- Share technical insights documentation and learnings to upskill team members and improve service delivery
- Minimum 8-10 years experience managing Linux RedHat/SUSE servers in production environments
- Strong understanding of networking concepts including TCP/IP DHCP IP routing and name resolution
- Deep knowledge of Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and experience working across multiple hyperscalers
- Solid technical understanding of infrastructure components security backup and recovery strategies
- Experience with configuration management systems such as Chef Puppet or Ansible
- Proven ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues and perform root cause analysis
- Knowledge of OS concepts including high availability disaster recovery LDAP and performance tuning
- Strong communication skills with ability to explain technical concepts clearly to customers and colleagues
- Well-organised approach to work with willingness to learn take ownership and share knowledge with the team
