Job Summary
- Execute purchasing activities for indirect categories including maintenance repair and operations supplies facility materials tooling safety equipment and general services.
- Support sourcing projects by preparing and managing requests for quotation conducting supplier evaluations and participating in negotiations.
- Manage supplier relationships to ensure quality reliability delivery performance and compliance with business requirements.
- Coordinate supplier onboarding activities and maintain accurate procurement documentation and records.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify business needs define purchasing requirements and prioritize procurement activities.
- Monitor supplier performance and support corrective actions to address service or delivery issues.
- Track procurement metrics and contribute to cost management initiatives that support operational objectives.
- Identify and implement process improvement opportunities to enhance efficiency compliance and procurement effectiveness.
- Bachelors degree in Business Supply Chain Management Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in purchasing procurement supply chain or manufacturing operations.
- Professional proficiency in written and spoken English.
- Experience using Microsoft Excel PowerPoint and Word.
- Knowledge of procurement processes and supplier management practices.
- Experience using SAP SAP Ariba or similar procurement systems.
- Experience in a manufacturing or other fast-paced operational environment.
- Experience within a regulated industry such as medical devices pharmaceuticals or aerospace.
- Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma or continuous improvement methodologies.
