Head of Projects, Warsaw, Poland

On behalf of our client a well established and growing Fintech Group we are seeking an experienced Head of Projects to join their expanding team in Warsaw Poland.

Our client is a well-established and internationally regulated financial services provider operating across the trading and investment sector offering clients access to a wide spectrum of asset classes and derivative products. With a substantial global workforce spread across multiple offices in Europe and beyond the organisation has built a strong reputation for reliability high standards and a forward-thinking approach to its markets.

Reporting closely to senior leadership the Head of Projects will play a pivotal role in shaping and delivering the organisations project portfolio. Responsibilities include:

• Leading and developing the Project Management team and establishing project governance frameworks methodologies and best practices across the organisation.
• Acting as a trusted right hand to the COO / CIO supporting and progressing the wider teams activities.
• Overseeing the successful delivery of strategic projects and programmes ensuring alignment with business objectives budgets timelines and resource availability.
• Driving continuous improvement of delivery standards tools and methodologies with a strong focus on Agile and hybrid delivery models.
• Providing leadership mentoring and performance management to Project Managers and cross-functional delivery teams.
• Partnering with senior leadership to translate strategic objectives into executable project roadmaps and measurable outcomes.
• Establishing and maintaining executive-level reporting on project health risks dependencies and resource utilisation.
• Managing relationships with key stakeholders executive leadership and third-party vendors.
• Fostering a culture of accountability collaboration innovation and delivery excellence.

• A minimum of 8 years experience in Project Management including at least 3 years as a Head of Projects or in a similar leadership capacity.
• A proven track record of managing complex project portfolios and leading cross-functional teams in technology-driven environments.
• Experience within FinTech Financial Services Gaming or other highly regulated industries is considered a strong advantage.
• Excellent command of English and Polish both written and verbal.
• Strong expertise in project governance portfolio management resource planning budgeting and risk management.
• A solid understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and technology project delivery.
• Exceptional stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence and communicate effectively at executive and board level.
• Experience with project management and collaboration tools such as Jira Confluence or similar.
• The ability to thrive in a fast-paced high-growth environment while driving strategic change and operational excellence.
• Must be based in Poland.
