WHAT CHALLENGE WILL YOU BE TAKING ON
The selected candidate will be integrated into a team developing GNC system components for ambitious missions for ESA and commercial clients. The role covers both early-stage analysis and detailed design of GNC systems dedicated to rockets or satellites missions.
WHAT DO WE NEED IN OUR TEAM
The scope of work to be carried out within the team includestasks ranging from requirements definition and specification through softwaredevelopment to testing of GNC systems for various rocket or satellite usecases. Particular emphasis is placed on verification of the development processand validation of algorithms and software.
This also includes the configurationof supporting tools test benches and processes throughout the GNC systemlifecycle.
Required knowledge/experience:
- MSc (or equivalent) in Aerospace Engineering ElectronicsAutomation and Robotics or a related field; - Fluency in English both spoken and written; - Knowledge of control theory estimation methods andguidance algorithms; - Familiarity with sensors and actuators used in rocket orsatellite control systems; - Experience with modeling and simulation tools ( Understanding of system engineering processes includingrequirements definition and verification; - Experience in software development for embedded orreal-time systems is an advantage;
Valuable knowledge/experience: - Experience in the design and development of GuidanceNavigation and Control (GNC) systems. - Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinaryengineering team.
