Position Summary & Key Areas of Responsibility:
A2R accountantreports to European Manager of Reporting and Consolidation and performs period-end closing activitiesinatimely mannerandin accordance withoperational procedures global corporate standardsand local requirements
Perform reconciliations postings and month-end activitiesin line withinternal standards.
Participatein group reporting and consolidation processes
Support external and internal auditorsby providing required documentationand explanations
Identifyopportunities for process improvement and actively contribute to process excellence initiatives
Prepare various reports and analysisas requested by senior management
Handle ad-hoc operational and administrative queries
Preferred Qualifications:
University degree preferably in Finance/Accounting/Economy or similar
At least 2 years of experience within SSC environment inarelated process area and/or accounting (preferablyin General Ledger or R2R area)
Knowledge of ERP systems
Very goodlevel of written and spoken English (knowledge ofadditionallanguages is an advantage)
Strong willingness to learn and develop
