Our team is distributed between Warsaw and Germany operating as part of the global ECO (Export Control Organization) which has representatives all over the this role you are not just a passive checkeryou are a strategic partner. While the business will initiate contact with you you will quickly take over prioritize independently and drive cases to completion.

  • Real Responsibility & Strong Support: You will manage standard compliance cases autonomously. Yes the role can be demanding and you will be making responsible decisions in highly sensitive cases. However you are never left on your own. The department head and all team members work closely together helping and supporting each other. While the role requires you to carry out your tasks independently guidance and assistance are always there whenever you need them.
  • Structure over Chaos: Because the variety of trade compliance challenges is massive no two days are the same. To keep this exciting environment from becoming chaotic we rely on clear predefined rules and processes. This balance ensures your work remains highly interesting structured and manageable.
  • Where Rules Meet Creativity: Compliance is about following laws but it is also about business consulting. We need someone who can combine strict predefined regulations with a creative consulting approach to help the business find legal safe and compliant paths forward.
  • Global Community & Local Alignment: You will work closely with our local Warsaw team and align with your counterpart during weekly team meetings. While your core focus is EU law you will regularly collaborate with our international trade experts whenever regulations from other regions of the world apply offering a truly global platform for knowledge exchange.

Your main tasks will include:

  • Ensuring compliance with national and international export control laws sanctions and trade regulations across the organization.
  • Classifying products software and technology according to dual-use military and local export control lists.
  • Screening transactions business partners and shipments against sanctioned party lists to prevent unauthorized transfers and mitigate risks.
  • Managing and maintaining export control master data licenses and restrictions within our ERP systems (specifically SAP).
  • Advising and supporting cross-functional teams and cross-hierarchy stakeholders on export control sanctions and trade compliance matters.
  • Conducting internal audits and risk assessments to identify potential vulnerabilities and propose corrective actions.

Qualifications :

  • Education: Completed university degree in Law Business Law or a comparable field of study.
  • Experience: Proven knowledge of export control and professional experience in international trade (preferably within a complex corporate environment like Bosch).
  • Technical Skills: Familiarity with ERP systems (specifically SAP) and strong IT skills (MS Office suite).
  • Work Environment & Mindset: Structured quality- and results-oriented working style complemented by strong analytical abilities and a robust compliance mindset. Intercultural experience is highly valued.
  • Soft Skills: Confident and reliable team player with excellent cross-hierarchy communication and interpersonal skills bringing a strong cross-functional team spirit.
  • Languages: Fluent English both spoken and written.
