Expert Data Engineer

Type of contract: Employment contract

Salary range: 17400 - 26700 PLN gross

What will you do

As an Expert Data Engineer you will help design and build modern data platforms and products across cloud and on-premise environments. You will work closely with business and technical stakeholders to create scalable data solutions optimize data processing pipelines and support data-driven decision making within agile delivery teams.

Your tasks

• Design build test and deploy cloud and on-premise data models and transformations
• Develop and maintain ETL and ELT pipelines
• Onboard new data sources and build data ingestion frameworks
• Design build test and deploy cloud data warehouses and data products
• Optimize data views and schemas for reporting and visualization use cases
• Review interpret and implement business and technical requirements
• Collaborate on backlog refinement user stories and epics in Jira
• Ensure data platform performance scalability and reliability

Your skills

• 7 years of commercial experience as a Data Engineer
• Strong SQL Python
• Experience with data modelling
• Understanding of data warehousing data lakes and data lakehouse architectures
• Hands-on experience with GCP data engineering tools
• Very good knowledge of BigQuery
• Experience with DBT Airflow and Trino
• Understanding of CI/CD principles and practices
• Experience designing and building scalable data pipelines

Nice to have

• Experience with Spark/PySpark
• Experience with BI tools such as Power BI Qlik or Apache Superset
• Experience with Snowflake
• Experience with Databricks
