Electrical Engineer (F/M)
(Rotary Parlor and Utilities product group)
Location: Wrocław
Purpose & Mission of role
As a Electrical Engineer you will be responsible for HW design of machine control systems of Rotary Parlor and Utilities (RPU) products and systems. The RPU systems are built of fully autonomous robots conventional milking rotaries and parlors feeding and effluent equipment cleaning and cooling devices and a broad range of technologies to manage and support sustainable operations of diary farms. We are seeking new ways to improve efficiency of related products within whole diary farms control systems.
You will be part of multi discipline team of electrical automation and embedded SW professionals developing new machines for cow and farmer satisfaction. Team have direct influence on final global products designs from DeLaval portfolio working with modern cloud connected control system for diary farm installations and challenging automation system suppliers on new solutions required to fulfill those designs.
Key responsibilities:
- Develop and modify electrical equipment and control systems
- Create and update existing product documentation using PDM and CAD systems
- Prepare evaluation of the safety functions in the control systems
- Coordinate compliance and certification processes in cooperation with compliance engineers and external certification bodies
- Prepare final instructions for end customers in cooperation with technical writers
- Support test team in test plan test cases and test reports creations
- Lead and perform prototype assembly
- Support and troubleshoot field installations
- Leadership of entrusted tasks
Qualifications and experience:
- At least 4 years of professional experience within electrical design
- Understanding and experience of machine electrical and control systems development
- Electrical measurement knowledge
- Industrial control theory knowledge
- Experience in industrial instrumentation and control including knowledge of communication protocols VFD (Variable Frequency Drive) and DC motion
- Safety and compliance knowledge in the electrical field
- Proficiency in manual skills for constructing electrical panels and installations
- Knowledge of EPLAN WSCAD tool will be an additional asset

- Ability to travel including international (max 20% of time during year)
