Experience that contributes to success:

• Strong experience in data engineering including the design development and maintenance of scalable data pipelines and platforms.
• Advanced proficiency in SQL and Python with the ability to write clean readable object-oriented and concurrent code using libraries such as pandas.
• Experience working with APIs data integrations data transformation relational databases and ETL or ELT processes.
• Experience designing and implementing structured automated tests in Python including unit integration and regression testing using pytest.
• Familiarity with cloud-based data environments ideally Microsoft Azure including secure object storage Azure DevOps and managed database services.
• A strong understanding of secure coding database firewalls and credential and secrets management tools such as Azure Key Vault.
• Experience or exposure to language-model processing prompt-based workflows AI-assisted data enrichment and the integration of AI into production data pipelines.
• Familiarity with Power BI project structures multi-developer Git integration and Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Terraform or Terragrunt would be advantageous.
• Strong analytical troubleshooting and technical-planning skills combined with a disciplined collaborative approach to documentation governance continuous improvement and the management of technical debt.
