Business Performance Intern (FMX)

Job Summary

We are looking for a Business Performance Intern to support the team in monitoring business performance analysing key metrics and preparing insights to support decision-making. This internship offers a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in business analysis reporting and performance tracking within the hospitality industry.

The ideal candidate is analytical detail-oriented and eager to develop practical skills in data analysis reporting and key insights preparation while working with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

Support the collection cleaning and analysis of business performance data using Excel and other internal data sources.

Assist in preparing recurring reports and performance summaries to track key business metrics and trends.

Contribute to data validation and transformation processes to ensure reporting accuracy and consistency.

Help translate data into clear findings and business insights.

Support the preparation of presentations and materials for internal discussions and senior stakeholders mainly in PowerPoint.

Collaborate with different departments to gather consolidate and analyse relevant business data.

Assist with ad hoc analyses and support ongoing business performance projects.

Learn to work with available reporting and data tools depending on business needs.

Contribute to continuous improvement of reporting processes and ways of presenting performance insights.

Qualifications & Competencies

Very good knowledge of Microsoft Excel including Pivot Tables and data analysis functions.

Good knowledge of PowerPoint with the ability to prepare clear and well-structured presentations.

Fluent English both written and spoken.

Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

Ability to work with data identify patterns and translate findings into concise insights.

Good communication skills and willingness to collaborate with different teams.

Eagerness to learn take initiative and adapt in a dynamic environment.

Basic knowledge of Tableau Power BI SQL or Snowflake would be an advantage.

Interest in hospitality travel or business performance analysis would be a plus.
