Our client is an established customs and logistics company entering an exciting new growth phase driven by evolving customs regulations across Europe. Building on a strong presence in customs services and a strategically located 10-hectare logistics hub in Eastern Poland the company is expanding its warehousing and logistics capabilities to serve Western European clients.

Note: The role includes a company car and will require some travel including for meetings in Warsaw.

About the Role

Were looking for an entrepreneurial Business Development Manager to establish and grow our clients warehousing and logistics business across Western Europe.

This is a true hunter role not account management. Youll define the go-to-market strategy acquire new customers build strategic partnerships and take ownership of a new business segment with real commercial influence and direct participation in its success.

What Youll Do

  • Develop and execute the go-to-market strategy for warehousing storage and consolidation services
  • Acquire new customers across Western European logistics and freight forwarding markets
  • Build and manage a strong pipeline of enterprise opportunities and tenders
  • Develop partnerships with transport and logistics providers to complement existing customs and warehousing services
  • Identify new market opportunities and define target customer segments together with leadership
  • Own commercial performance and P&L for the new business segment
  • Lead negotiations with customers and strategic partners

What Were Looking For

  • 5 years of experience within the TSL (Transport Spedition & Logistics) sector
  • Strong background in freight forwarding logistics or supply chain services
  • Operational understanding of warehousing and customs processes
  • Proven track record of acquiring new clients ideally across Western Europe
  • Experience building business or customer portfolios from scratch
  • Excellent English (B2/C1) for international negotiations
  • Strong commercial negotiation and stakeholder management skills
  • Entrepreneurial ownership-driven mindset with the ability to work independently
