Were looking for an experienced Business Analyst or Senior Business Analyst to join our clients data team in Krakow. Youll support critical finance data initiatives working on complex data mapping ingestion and architecture-aligned projects. Position Overview

In this role youll be at the centre of how our client manages and transforms financial data. Youll analyse data lineage define data requirements and document complex data flows that support regulatory and statistical reporting. Your work directly impacts the accuracy and compliance of financial reporting systems. Youll operate independently during discovery and definition phases then collaborate with technical and business teams to deliver solutions that align with enterprise data architecture standards.

Responsibilities
  • Analyse and document data lineage data definitions and data transformation requirements for finance and regulatory reporting initiatives

  • Translate complex business requirements into clear data and architectural solutions with minimal guidance

  • Drive discovery and definition phase activities independently identifying data gaps and dependencies

  • Create high-quality documentation including discovery factsheets requirements specifications change frameworks and impact assessments

  • Map data flows across systems identifying integration points and data ingestion requirements

  • Manage stakeholder relationships across finance compliance and technology teams to ensure alignment

  • Support data integration and reporting transformation programmes from requirements through to delivery

  • Communicate technical concepts clearly to both business and technical audiences

Requirements

Essential:

  • Proven experience working as a Business Analyst in finance domain or senior equivalent role

  • Demonstrated expertise in statistical reporting and regulatory data requirements

  • Strong experience analysing and documenting data lineage definitions and transformation processes

  • Ability to work independently on discovery and definition activities with minimal supervision

  • Excellent documentation skills with experience creating requirements factsheets and impact assessments

  • Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional communication abilities

  • Analytical mindset with capability to translate business needs into data solutions

Desirable:

  • Experience with enterprise data platforms or similar large-scale data architecture initiatives

  • Exposure to data ingestion integration and reporting transformation programmes

  • Knowledge of private banking or corporate and investment banking data structures

Nice-to-have:

  • Familiarity with banking data systems and related processes
