Our client is seeking an experienced Business Analyst to join their team on a contract basis. Youll take a central role in enterprise-level CPQ implementations working directly with business stakeholders and technology vendors to deliver solutions that transform quote-to-order processes. If you have 6-8 years of business analysis experience with proven expertise in CPQ platforms vendor selection and process optimisation this is an opportunity to make a tangible impact on significant transformation projects.

Position Overview

In this role youll act as a bridge between business strategy and technical delivery leading critical phases of CPQ implementation projects. Youll conduct in-depth business process analysis facilitate stakeholder workshops design detailed process maps and data flows and guide vendors through low-level design phases. Your work directly influences how organisations streamline their quoting and ordering processes improve pricing accuracy and enhance customer experience across enterprise-scale operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead CPQ platform selection and deployment projects demonstrating hands-on expertise with Tacton Salesforce CPQ Oracle CPQ Configit or equivalent enterprise solutions
• Optimise core CPQ business modules including product configuration logic dynamic pricing strategies and Quote-to-Order workflows
• Conduct comprehensive business process analysis creating standardised process maps and data flow diagrams that clearly identify bottlenecks and optimisation opportunities
• Facilitate cross-functional stakeholder workshops with sales operations finance and customer service teams to accurately capture business requirements and pain points
• Compile review and validate complete functional non-functional and integration requirement documents for RFP processes
• Design scientific vendor evaluation frameworks conduct vendor demonstrations and provide data-driven vendor selection recommendations
• Participate in solution testing user acceptance testing and post-launch optimisation collecting feedback and adjusting configuration rules accordingly
• Define integration requirements and data mappings across CPQ ERP CRM and middleware systems
• Translate business and process requirements into detailed design specifications reviewing and validating vendor design documents
• Support legacy system exit planning and data migration considerations throughout implementation phases

Requirements

• 6-8 years of business analysis experience with demonstrated expertise in CPQ tool selection and implementation deployment
• Hands-on experience with enterprise CPQ platforms such as Tacton Salesforce CPQ Oracle CPQ or Configit
• Deep understanding of configuration logic pricing strategies quoting processes and Quote-to-Order workflows
• Proven experience managing RFP and vendor selection processes from requirements definition through vendor evaluation
• Strong capability in creating and reviewing functional non-functional and integration requirements documentation
• Proficiency in process mapping data flow diagramming and writing user stories with clear acceptance criteria
• Experience defining CPQ integrations with ERP CRM and middleware systems including data mappings and interface specifications
• Knowledge of system landscapes data flows master data structures and migration planning
• Ability to work collaboratively with vendors during low-level design phases translating requirements into detailed specifications
• Excellent facilitation and stakeholder management skills across multiple departments and organisational levels
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with attention to detail and accuracy
