Department Overview
with the goal to provide competitive offers while optimizing project cost and protecting addition will review and monitor bid progress and resolve / escalate issues and problems to relevant stakeholders.
This position will be part of the International Customer Lifecycle team working in a multi-cultural environment and supporting sales teams across EMEA APAC and LATAM.
This position is eligible for 100% remote work depending on location.
Job Description

Key Responsibilities:
Bid Process Management: Coordinate the end to end bid process. Manage an opportunity from qualification through to contract award supporting the sales team with the bid strategy development partner identification and value proposition.
Virtual Team Management: Manage virtual bid teams and inputs from a variety of stakeholders.
Cross Functional Interface: Interface with cross functional departments such as Sales Engineering Production Bid & Quote Product Group Finance Legal Strategy etc.
Bid Environment Analysis: Understand the opportunities in terms of customer requirements timing costs risks features competition and any other area impacting bid content and strategy.
Market Knowledge: Excellent understanding of the market company products and high sensitivity to competitive issues and tendering rules to ensure consistency of the commercial proposal with the agreed bid strategy financials and content as well as customer requirements fulfilment.
Adherence to Business Practices: Maintain a good working knowledge of the company business practices and standards to ensure an appreciation of the broad scope of knowledge and content required to satisfactorily respond to tenders.
Scope Management: Define Responsibility Matrix and Statement of Work for Organization and business partners.
Planning: Create project implementation plans and cost projections.
Proposal Management: Source and co-ordinate design input to ensure the visual standard of all documentation and presentation material is first class and eye-catching. Responsible for the quality of all aspects of the bid including written documentation and presentations or demonstrations.
Risk Management: including risk identification and mitigation action plan throughout the bid process.
Bid Presentation: Present deliverables to management for informed bid decisions.
Handover: Complete professional handover of successful bids to the Post-sale organization.
Basic Requirements
Candidate Profile:
A self-motivated professional who thrives in fast-paced ambiguous environments and takes full ownership of multitasking and shifting priorities.
Languages: Excellent verbal written and presentation skills. Fluency in English is mandatory.
Education: Bachelors degree in Engineering (preferably in communications computer science software or similar field).
Experience: 5 years of Pre-sales bid experience with proven track record of managing high-performing bid teams preferably within the Defense Aerospace Robotics or Semiconductor industries with project management background including project cost scope schedule and risk analysis.
Team Player: Team player with strong communication and commercial skills and ability to work under pressure to challenging deadlines.
Communication: Strong leadership and communication skills. Comfortable working at CEO/Director level (internal and external customers).
Working environment: Comfortable working for a dynamic agile and technical organization with a rapidly expanding customer base.
Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with the drone ecosystem (UAV regulations flight controllers propulsion systems) is a significant plus. Experience managing military or defense-sector clients is considered a significant asset.

Outdoor environment for occasional field demonstrations.
While performing the duties of this job the employee is required to do the following:
Lift equipment up to 20lbs. for the set-up of demonstrations and testing.
Manage the movement of large suitcase size Pelican cases (i.e. travel
demos etc.)
Extended periods of sitting.
