Assistant Bar Manager (fmx)

At Raffles every drink tells a story and every interaction is an opportunity to create a lasting memory. We are seeking a passionate and polished Assistant Bar Manager to help lead our bar team and deliver distinctive experiences defined by craftsmanship genuine warmth and intuitive service.

Working closely with the Bar Manager you will oversee the daily operation of the bar and humidor inspire the team and ensure every detail reflects the elegance and heritage of Raffles.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver consistently professional engaging and personalised service ensuring every guest feels genuinely recognised and cared for.
• Support the Bar Manager in leading motivating and supervising the bar team throughout daily operations.
• Help create a positive working environment built on collaboration ownership and continuous improvement.
• Assist with the development and delivery of training programmes that strengthen product knowledge technical skills and luxury service standards.
• Oversee the day-to-day operation of the bar and humidor maintaining an elegant welcoming and impeccably presented environment.
• Contribute to the creation of distinctive beverage menus and cocktail offerings aligned with Raffles brand standards and evolving guest preferences.
• Anticipate guest needs and provide confident thoughtful recommendations across the complete beverage selection.
• Maintain expert knowledge of premium spirits wines beers cocktails and cigars as well as all menu ingredients garnishes and preparation methods.
• Demonstrate and uphold refined European bottle service Champagne service and high tea service standards.
• Ensure consistency and precision in beverage preparation presentation and service.
• Maintain accurate stock control monitor par levels and place orders in line with operational requirements.
• Ensure the correct use polishing and storage of glassware and stemware while maintaining appropriate bar stock levels.
• Uphold the highest standards of cleanliness hygiene safety and bar presentation at all times.
• Ensure all operating procedures licensing requirements and Raffles service standards are consistently followed.
• Perform any other duties and responsibilities assigned by the Bar Manager or hotel management.

Qualifications :

• Previous supervisory experience in a luxury hotel premium bar or high-end hospitality environment.
• A genuine passion for mixology fine beverages and creating memorable guest experiences.
• Strong knowledge of premium spirits wines beers and classic and contemporary cocktails.
• Knowledge of Champagne European bottle and high tea service standards.
• A confident and supportive leader who inspires high performance through daily coaching and example.
• Warm polished and attentive with an intuitive ability to anticipate guest needs.
• Highly organised and comfortable managing operations in a dynamic environment.
• An excellent communicator with strong attention to detail.
• Fluent in English; additional languages are an advantage.
