Application and Integration Architect

• Define and maintain architecture development testing and quality standards across enterprise solutions.
• Design and oversee enterprise-wide database architectures data models analytics platforms BI services and data governance frameworks.
• Gather and analyze business user and technical requirements translating them into scalable architecture solutions aligned with business goals.
• Evaluate existing systems applications and technologies recommending optimal solutions and infrastructure requirements.
• Lead development teams and support system design testing quality assurance and change management activities.
• Monitor system performance metrics and drive continuous improvements in performance security scalability and quality.
• Prepare architecture documentation presentations and maintain enterprise architecture artifacts throughout the system lifecycle.
• Select and evaluate technologies while ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture standards and strategic objectives.

Requirements:

What will you be bringing to the team

• Minimum Education Level: Level 7
• At least 8 years of relevant professional IT experience
• Minimum 5 years of project experience relevant to the profile or in a similar position
• At least two (2) certifications from the list below or internationally recognized equivalent certifications accepted by the Contracting Authority:
  • IASA Architect CITA-A
  • Microsoft Certified: DevOps Engineer Expert
  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Fundamentals
  • TIBCO Certified Associate
  • Certified SOA Architect

• Experience with ArchiMate modeling.
• Experience with the European Interoperability Framework (EIF) or other interinstitutional frameworks.
• Experience in applying architecture styles principles and design patterns to enterprise solutions.
• Strong technical knowledge of integration platforms such as TIBCO or MuleSoft SOA databases application servers communication middleware web applications cloud integration patterns business intelligence concepts systems integration and Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
• Expert in architecting system integrations at both data and API levels.
• Expert in designing enterprise integration platform connectors integration flows and service bus solutions.
• Expert in planning the capacity scalability and security of integration platform capabilities.
• Familiar with integration patterns standards and models.
• Familiar with serverless and containerization platforms across cloud and on-premises environments.
• Sound knowledge of system and application design using UML.
• Familiar with DevSecOps methodologies and practices.
• Extensive experience in aligning application development and integration solutions with business needs.
• Proficient in system modeling tools such as Sparx Enterprise Architect ARIS Architect or equivalent tools.
• Familiar with architecture standards and frameworks such as TOGAF Zachman Azure Well-Architected Framework or similar.
• Sound knowledge of hybrid systems and application integration approaches.
