WHY THIS ROLE IS IMPORTANT TO US

SimCorp Advanced Delivery Center (ADC) was strategically established in Warsaw in 2016 and has since expanded to Manila Noida and Mexico City. ADCs mission is to standardize and accelerate service delivery while supporting Regional Teams in implementing SimCorp solutions for clients worldwide.

As an ADC Global Delivery Manager you will have end-to-end responsibility for a portfolio of mid-sized projects delivered globally with a particular focus on upgrade engagements and client onboarding support. You will work closely with Global and Regional teamsto ensure the scope schedule and direction of each engagement in your portfolio stay aligned with client and stakeholder expectations while managing ADC resourcing and delivery quality across multiple concurrent engagements.

WHAT YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR

  • Own a portfolio of mid-size globally distributed projects with primary focus on system upgrades and client onboarding delivery

  • Based on scoping documents develop detailed project plans for ADC deliveries and associated communication documents

  • Manage ADC resources across your portfolio and oversee allocation to project tasks balancing priorities across concurrent engagements

  • Apply appropriate project management tools and techniques in line with SimCorp delivery methodology to track project performance across the portfolio

  • Conduct risk assessments to identify factors that could compromise the success of individual projects or the portfolio as a whole

  • Set and continually manage project expectations with team members regional Project Sponsors and other stakeholders

  • Establish and maintain trusted relationships with regional teams and clients

  • Organize and lead governance meetings to review project and portfolio delivery strategy

  • Ensure a smooth transition of ADC deliverables to clients particularly at the close of onboarding and upgrade engagements

  • Evaluate portfolio and project progress to determine where strategy or resourcing adjustments are needed

  • Contribute to building up repeatable delivery processes across your portfolio so that lessons learned on one engagement shorten time-to-value on the next.

WHAT WE VALUE

Your high-quality communication coordination and interpersonal skills will enable you to direct all activities to planned outcomes. As our preferred candidate you will have:

  • 5 years of direct project management experience including process development and execution ideally with a portfolio of multiple concurrent engagements. Experience in software implementation or upgrade projects is important.

  • Consulting / fintech background is a strong asset - experience managing client relationships and delivery from within a consulting or professional services environment.

  • Experience with asset manager or investment management clients is a strong asset - understanding of front-to-back investment management business processes will help you engage credibly with clients and regional teams.

  • Work experience in client-facing roles including client onboarding

  • Strong familiarity with project management software such as Microsoft Project

  • Professional leadership skills and the ability to motivate and engage teams across geographies

  • Ability to make sound decisions balancing quality cost risk and resources across a portfolio of projects

  • Time management prioritization and coordination skills suited to managing multiple projects in parallel

  • Empathy and the ability to listen

  • Strong negotiation influencing and conflict management skills

  • PMI PMP / Prince2 or equivalent certification or willingness to achieve one within 12 months of hire

  • Fluent in English with excellent communication and presentation skills
