Accountant Stock (GA)

Key Responsibilities:

• Process daily and monthly Stock Accounting transactions including stock movements and relevant system interfaces
• Perform stock reconciliations margin reconciliations and other accounting controls to ensure data accuracy and completeness
• Calculate and post stock-related adjustments including Stock Valuation Allowance (SVA) where applicable
• Support month-end closing activities reporting and analysis of accounting data.
• Investigate discrepancies and provide explanations and supporting information to internal and external auditors
• Contribute to process improvement standardization automation and transition projects.
• Cooperate with internal stakeholders and METRO Group entities to ensure high-quality and timely service delivery
• Maintain and update Standard Operating Procedures and other process documentation.
• Participate in training and knowledge-sharing activities and support an effective backup structure within the team.

Qualifications :

Our requirements:

• Accounting experience
• Work experience with SAP will be an advantage.
• Analytical skills and good knowledge of Excel.
• Knowledge of stock valuation topics nice to have.
• Experience with margin controlling and reconciliation between presystems and the accounting system in addition.
• Good organization of own work in changing environment.
• High orientation on goals realization.
• Good command of English (B1/B2).
