What Youll Do At Elekta

As an Accountant within Corporate Accounting you will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy integrity and timely delivery of financial information across the organization. Working in an international environment you will support accounting and reporting activities contribute to month-end close processes and collaborate with stakeholders across finance and business functions. This role offers the opportunity to develop expertise in corporate accounting project revenue recognition and financial reporting while contributing to continuous process improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Perform daily accounting activities and ad hoc tasks in accordance with established processes and accounting policies.
  • Recognize project revenue in line with Group accounting policies and applicable accounting standards ensuring all recognition criteria are met and accurately recorded.
  • Prepare journal entries reconcile balance sheet and profit and loss accounts and investigate variances and discrepancies.
  • Support the preparation of VAT Intrastat and other tax-related reports including associated accounting entries and reconciliations.
  • Execute month-end closing activities for assigned entities and divisions in accordance with reporting timelines and closing schedules.
  • Respond to queries from controllers and other internal stakeholders in a timely professional and service-oriented manner.
  • Investigate accounting and transaction processing issues identify root causes and drive timely resolution.
  • Prepare regular management reports including cost revenue and cost of goods sold (COGS) analysis.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls accounting standards and corporate policies.
  • Support internal and external audits by providing accurate documentation and explanations as required.
  • Contribute to process optimization standardization initiatives and continuous improvement activities across legal entities.
  • Effectively prioritize workload and manage competing deadlines during peak reporting periods.

What Youll Bring

  • You have a minimum of 2 years of accounting experience preferably within an international organization.
  • You have a solid understanding of accounting principles and the ability to apply them in practice.
  • You have experience with journal entries reconciliations financial reporting and month-end close activities.
  • You have advanced Microsoft Excel skills and are comfortable working with large datasets and financial analysis.
  • Experience with integrated finance systems or ERP solutions.
  • Fluency in English with the ability to communicate effectively with international stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to build effective working relationships across different functions and cultures.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to independently manage multiple priorities.
  • A proactive assertive and solution-focused approach with a commitment to accuracy and timely delivery.
  • Ability to work effectively in a dynamic and evolving business environment.
