Role Overview

Were seeking an experienced Video Editor with a proven portfolio in short-form social media content creation. Youll work with a cohesive team to produce 1520 high-quality videos weekly across automotive hospitality and portrait studio niches. Youll collaborate directly with our client through organized workflows and brand guidelines to ensure consistency and reliability.



Requirements

Key Responsibilities

  • Edit 1520 short-form videos weekly (10 seconds to 2 minutes in length) for social media platforms

  • Work with provided assets: Client delivers a detailed Google Sheet containing raw footage assets editing instructions and brand reference materials

  • Maintain brand consistency: Apply the clients established style color grading transitions and branding guidelines across all videos

  • Master multiple editing styles:

    • Automotive: Face-to-camera transitions dynamic car footage high-energy edits

    • Hospitality: Food cafe and restaurant content with visual appeal and motion

    • Portrait Studios: Behind-the-scenes (BTS) studio footage with polished professional editing

  • Deliver on schedule: Maintain consistent weekly deadlines with zero delays or missed deliveries

  • Communicate proactively: Provide regular status updates flag any blockers and clarify instructions when needed

  • Optimize for platforms: Ensure videos are formatted and edited for Instagram TikTok YouTube Shorts and other short-form platforms

  • Quality assurance: Perform self-review to ensure all videos meet the clients high-quality standards before submission

Required Skills & Experience

  • Advanced proficiency in: CapCut and/or Adobe Premiere Pro

  • Portfolio demonstrating expertise in:

    • Automotive content editing

    • Food/hospitality content editing

    • Behind-the-scenes (BTS) studio footage

  • 3 years of video editing experience (professional or freelance)

  • Proven track record of short-form video editing (10s2min content)

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to deadlines

  • Excellent communication skills and responsiveness
