US Finance Operations Manager

About the Job:

We are looking for a Finance Operations Manager to join our clients team and help oversee the companys financial operations and cash management this role you will manage accounts payable payroll cash flow planning and financial reporting while ensuring accurate financial records and audit readiness. You will also play a key role in improving finance processes building standard operating procedures and supporting leadership with data-driven financial insights as the business continues to grow.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee weekly cash flow requirements and provide insights to support cash planning and financial decisions.
• Manage accounts payable vendor payments and payment schedules based on business priorities and cash availability.
• Coordinate the full payment lifecycle for both local and international suppliers.
• Develop document and maintain finance standard operating procedures (SOPs) and workflows.
• Manage payroll administration including reimbursements employee benefits and compliance requirements.
• Support financial reporting lending facility reporting and year-end accounting activities.
• Coordinate with external accountants and auditors for tax filings compliance and financial reporting.
• Monitor financial records to ensure accuracy completeness and audit readiness.
• Analyze financial statements cash flow reports and aging reports to identify risks and improvement opportunities.
• Drive continuous process improvements to enhance efficiency and strengthen financial operations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors Degree in Accountancy Finance or a related field.
• 3 years of solid experience in finance or accounting operations.
• Strong understanding of cash flow management and financial forecasting preferably in inventory-based or e-commerce businesses.
• Hands-on experience with accounting systems such as QuickBooks or Xero.
• Experience developing and documenting finance processes and standard operating procedures.
• Strong understanding of financial statements accounts payable and aging reports.
• Experience with lending facility reporting and multi-state sales tax is an advantage.
• Experience using Gusto for payroll administration is a plus.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets including financial modeling and forecasting.
• Excellent analytical organizational problem-solving and communication skills with strong attention to detail.
